GAS STATION ROBBERS FLEE IN WAITING CAB
Greenfield Police are seeking the assistance of the public in the investigation of a brazen midday robbery which occurred at the BP station at West
Loomis Road and West Layton Avenue at noon today. Anyone with information is asked to call the Greenfield Police Department at 414-761-5301
Witnesses reported two black males entered the station at noon and displayed a handgun, demanding money and cigarettes. Both suspects fled from the
store and made their getaway in a waiting American United taxi cab. Police were able to locate the cab with the help of the cab company and GPS. The driver had dropped the suspects off at 27th and Layton. Neither the driver nor the cab company were involved in the robbery and detectives continue to follow up several leads in the case.
The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect #1, lighter skinned, black/male, 18-20 years of age, 5’7”, skinny build, approximately
135 pounds, medium length black hair with a slight curl, with what is described as an “ugly longer nose” wearing very distinct clothing described as a shiny silver/black baseball cap,
black t-shirt with skulls that go on an angle across the front of the shirt, calf-length blue jean shorts which have a pattern of yellow, green and red on both rear pockets, carrying a
black courier bag with a shoulder strap.
Suspect #2, who was armed with a silver handgun, was a darker skinned black/male, 20
years of age, 5’9”, 150 pounds, with close cut black hair, thin goatee, wearing a black baseball cap with a Michael Jordan logo on the front and rear of the cap, black t-shirt with a white t-shirt
underneath it, black pants and tennis shoes.
