On December 10, 2008 at 2:56 PM, the Villager Food Mart at 6845 West Layton Avenue was robbed by two suspects. Both suspects entered the store armed with handguns and ordered the patrons to the floor. They obtained cash and merchandise from the store. The suspects also robbed the patrons of wallets and cash before fleeing in an unknown direction. The suspects are described as: Suspect #1 - described as a black male, 6'0" tall, medium build, wearing a black colored ski mask with openings for the eyes, nose and mouth, all black or dark colored clothing, and dark colored gloves. This suspect was armed with a large semi-automatic handgun with a dull silver finish. Suspect #2 - described as possibly a black male, 5'8" to 5'9" tall, also wearing a black ski mask, the rest of his clothing was also dark or black in color, dark colored gloves.
