Technical Colleges: In addition to department training, many of our trainers serve as instructors at the Milwaukee Area Technical College and Waukesha County Technical College in the Police Science Program as well as the Law Enforcement Recruit Academy.

Community Outreach: Our training instructors also provide valuable safety training to members of the community through our "Pepper Spray Defense" and "Rape Prevention and Awareness" courses. To ensure that the maximum number of citizens can attend these valuable seminars, they are offered free of charge or at a nominal cost . Hunter safety courses are offered at the Greenfield Police Department on a semiannual basis. This course is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and is a prerequisite for juvenile hunters. For more information, contact Captain Paul Schlecht at (414) 761-5338.
